Overview
Inner Citadel is designed with your privacy as a core principle. The app operates entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers.
Data Storage
All data you create within Inner Citadel — including journal entries, settings, mood logs, challenge completions, and favorites — is stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it.
No Accounts or Registration
Inner Citadel does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app. There is no cloud sync, no user profiles, and no social features.
Notifications
If you enable daily reminders, notifications are scheduled using your device's local notification system. No data is sent to external push notification services. You can disable notifications at any time in Settings.
In-App Purchases
Inner Citadel offers optional tip jar purchases to support development. These transactions are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). The app never receives, stores, or has access to your payment information, billing details, or purchase credentials.
Data Export
You may export your journal data from Settings. When you choose to export, the data is shared using your device's native share sheet. The app does not upload exported data to any server.
Analytics and Tracking
Inner Citadel does not use any analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. We do not collect:
- Usage statistics or behavior data
- Device identifiers or fingerprints
- Location data
- Advertising identifiers
- Crash reports sent to third parties
Third-Party Services
The app does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. The only external interaction is through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for optional in-app purchases.
Children's Privacy
Inner Citadel does not knowingly collect any data from children. Since no personal data is collected from any user, the app is safe for all ages.
Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time by using the "Clear All Data" option in Settings, or by uninstalling the app. Since all data is stored locally on your device, deletion is immediate and permanent.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Since the app collects no data, significant changes are unlikely.
